One could leave from the Capital City Colombo on A4 High Level road passing Avissawella, Ratnapura, Balangoda, Belihul Oya, Beragala and come to Haputale (189 km) which can be made within 4 hours drive or people could approach from Nuwara Eliya via Welimada road to Haputale (45 km) in 2 hours.
